LAKISHA TRUESDALE
I’m the founder of Links of Love, a program inspired by years of
hands-on experience and a deep desire to create something meaningful
for children with disabilities and their families. My journey began
over two decades ago as a speech-language pathologist in the public
school system, where I witnessed both the challenges families face and
the incredible potential every child carries. Those experiences led me
to build a space rooted in compassion, connection, and faith—one that
extends beyond therapy and into every part of a child's growth.
Links of Love is the heart of everything I believe in: community,
inclusion, faith, and the power of connection. It’s more than a
program—it’s a place where children feel seen, families feel
supported, and everyone belongs.
